What is your wedding photography style?

I love capturing those natural moments. I have a relaxed approach to my photography and you’ll often find me discreetly moving around to get those unique angles. I am a very easy-going person and I love to socialise with guests to make them feel at ease around me.

Anybody can point a camera at a group of people and get them to say “cheese”. For me it’s about making people feel comfortable enough so they don’t put on a fake. I will create a mixture of natural images as well as the must-have formal shots, so you’re left with a variety of stunning photographs.

Can you travel?

Yes! Although the majority of my work is based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds. I love to travel, and no destination is too far. Whether your wedding is on a beach in Bali or a castle in the Cotswolds I would love to be your photographer.

Do we receive a mixture of colour and black and white images?

Yes, I will provide a selection of both colour and black and white photographs. It’s all about creating images suitable to you, so if you have any specific preferences we can go through these during our consultation meetings prior to the wedding. I enjoy getting to know my clients and producing images that you love is so important to me.

What equipment do you use?

I use a range of professional Canon and Sony equipment including a Canon 5d mk3, a Sony a7iii, an assortment of top of the range lenses and various external off camera flash equipment so that no matter what the weather I will always create striking images.

Are the photographs copyrighted?

Yes I will own the copyright so I can use them for my own advertising and marketing with your consent, however you have full licence to print and share.

How many photographs am I likely to receive?

I aim to give my clients between 300 and 500 finished digital images. They will be narrowed down to ensure you see the best of the best. Once you’re happy with the selected pictures I will edit these one by one to ensure each image is of the highest quality.

Is a deposit required?

I usually take a £200 deposit to hold the date, and the final balance will need to be paid two weeks before your wedding day.  This can be paid via bank transfer, cheque or cash.

Do you create photo albums?

Yes. Wedding albums are part of my platinum package and are finished to the highest quality paper. I can provide samples that we can go through in our pre wedding consultation.

You can order additional albums at an extra cost of £250. Wedding albums are the perfect way to beautifully showcase your favourite images, but can also be done to your own specific style so it can tell the story of your wedding.

How do you photograph in bad weather / winter weddings?

I won’t let the bad weather put a dampener on your day. All my equipment is sealed so it works in all weather conditions, and I am highly skilled using off camera lighting, which is vital in the winter months as the sun sets so early.
